Enjoyable Moments of Reading the Great Minds
"... we believe you will be drawn to, and inspired by, the brilliant remarks and words from the Chinese President Xi Jinping."
Some things are too good not to share. Such as this fairly recent email from an institution of higher education in China. Your author Data Humanist once lived and worked in mainland China for over 5 years, and still (as of September 2022, ending soon) holds an appointment at the rank of Professor in the College of Liberal Arts at a university in Guangdong Province. So, to transcribe some highlights from the above screenshot (contact details removed, of course):
We are proud and pleased to share with you … Xi Jinping: The Governance of China Volume IV. We believe you will be drawn to, and inspired by, the brilliant remarks and words from the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
This seems an increasingly plausible, perhaps even reasonable assumption — given the recent press conferences and speeches by the American President Joseph Biden.
So we have the one President articulating his doctrine for long-term global domination, and the other President shaking hands with air and all but declaring civil war by demonizing roughly one half of the American population.
Many thanks for your time and attention. We hope this will bring you enjoyable moments of reading the great minds.
The above email was good for a laugh and more, but laugh at the Chinese at your peril. The joke might be on us, and given the damage being done by the Biden-Harris administration and globalist allies, the joke might even be us.
It is not yet time for “Learning from the Excerpts.” But learning about the Excerpts and understanding that China is committed to a long-term strategy which will leave the USA increasingly irrelevant — this does seem in our national interest.
