Foie gras for Big Pharma: A note on American Children and Liver Disease
Roughly 1 in 10 American children suffer from Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). For those aged 15-19, the rate climbs to 17% or roughly 1 in 6.
We all know the fable about The Goose Which Laid the Golden Eggs. The greedy farmer not content with a regular profit kills the goose to get the greater stash of gold inside it: only there is no gold. Just a now dead but otherwise ordinary goose. Big Pharma knows better. Nothing beats a life-long caged creature making money for you. If anything, force-feed the goose to keep it kicking out those eggs.
Force-feeding the goose, or gavage, is how foie gras is made: a French delicacy — or golden egg, so to speak — based on fatty liver. But harvesting the foie gras does require killing the caged and force-fed goose.
Unless that goose is a human child. Then the fatty liver — which is a medical condition — becomes a delicious profit-point, the start of a live-long dependency on Big Pharma. The first of many golden eggs.
We are at a strange point in American history. Back say in the 1990s, I would have thought the two sentences in the blockquote below could only exist in an absurd, dystopian Sci-Fi novel (Children’s Health, 2022):
Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most common cause of chronic liver disease in children, affecting 1 in 10 children. According to the American Liver Foundation, the number of children affected by fatty liver disease is on the rise — having more than doubled in the last 20 years.
Instead, this documents part of our current reality. One in ten American children or roughly 10% now suffer from Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). But according to two other generally reliable sources, the rate increases to 17% of children aged 15-19 years (American Liver Foundation, 24 April 2020; Medical News Today, 14 April 2022).
So roughly 1 in every 6 American teenagers from age 15 to 19 suffers from Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Like caged geese being forced-fed. Only, with the blessing of Big Agriculture and Big Pharma and the curse of the Standard American Diet, these children and their parents are doing this to themselves. Voluntarily.
Because a lifetime of chronic disease is the new normal. Because it is profitable. Because it renders people more controllable. Win-win-win-win for Big Pharma, Big Agriculture, Big Tech, and the Administrative State.
According to the American Liver Foundation (22 September 2021): “There are no medical treatments yet for non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.” The key word is “yet” because Big Pharma is all over it. Prescription medications are on the way. Dr. Suneel Dhand below comments astutely on that particular madness
As with all lifestyle diseases, the key is lifestyle change. To cite the American Liver Foundation (22 September 2021) again:
“Eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly may help prevent liver damage from starting or reverse it in the early stages.”
But lifestyle medicine — lifestyle change — seems too much to ask. In fact, wrong to ask. You’re fat-shaming. Being a fitness fascist. Likely racist as well. We have normalized pathology: do not question this, do not criticize this.
If a dictator or space aliens or whatever had conquered the USA and then set out to enslave and even destroy the bulk of the population, these are the results you might expect. A nation dependent on poly-pharmacy and highly processed (factory) foods. In a state of never-ending moral panic. Constantly distracted by MSM and Social media, and told always to hate hate hate any of their fellow citizens who question or dissent.
So we have children being stuffed like caged geese but not for the slaughter — for a life-time of chronic illness, prescription drug dependency, and servitude to the Administrative State. Now almost 1 in every 6 American teenagers, ages 15-19, suffers from NAFLD. Unimaginable just 30 years ago.
The current American obesity rate is roughly 42% and expected to cross the 50% boundary by 2030, just eight years from now.
We need a revolution. One that returns to the American roots of self-reliance and independence, which must include bodily autonomy. Healthy lifestyles. The mainstream normal is now so dysfunctional, so pathological that conformity only means chronic illness, permanent dependency, wage-slavery, and early death.

What kills me isn't that industry produces hyper-palatable foods that are addictive and difficult or impossible to consume in moderation. It is the fact the government subsidizes the components of these foods making them less expensive than their less processed counterparts. Think about it, how in the hell is a processed food cheaper than whole food? Processing costs money, and in a free market this would be reflected in the price. The idea that we pay for the privilege of cheap processed food with inflation whether we consume it or not is endlessly frustrating.
It's this kind of Evil that makes my blood run cold, and then pretty HOT.
I remember talking to an old friend quite a while ago, maybe a year? He said his mother had just passed, and I comforted him and thought we were having a lovely conversation after a long time without one. He knew that I was not jabbed, and that I was part of the 10% -- the "Truthers." And then after we'd been talking for a while, he suddenly told me that he couldn't understand how I could be so "selfish and cavalier" about not getting jabbed. And this is rather mind-boggling, until we remember that these folks are very brainwashed...
What's truly SELFISH AND CAVALIER is how anyone could deliberately cause the death and/or suffering of children. I think it's a pretty good guess that this phrase, "selfish and cavalier" comes from those who create these hideous means of Divide and Conquer... And just what these phrases and ideas actually ARE: projection. Absolute and utter projection.
