Forgot to give link to “Juxtaposition 1” who is also adamant about drugs in all high-level sports; Armstrong!

Going to come at this from a different angle: according to the arbiter of Truth aka Wikipedia, Sheryl now lives in West Nashville, which is basically downtown. (Candace Owens, Matt Walsh are a couple of the ‘younger’ conservative commentators.) Sheryl Crow also gave birth to a son after breaking up with Lance Armstrong, then adopted another. Wikipedia also states she was raised Presbyterian. The strange ‘mass shooting’ that’s referenced took place at Coventry Presbyterian’s private school; according to Wikipedia she has voiced concerns about US going into Iraq in 2003 (who hasn’t?) and about, wait for it...gun violence.

Then Aldean references Las Vegas. Another very strange event, as was Nashville. As a rabbit holer, neither of these ring true. Fetzer and others have been all over them. The Nashville one never could gain much traction because of the ‘shooter’s sexual identity.”

Lastly, there’s this barely watched, dry, smart guy who just moved off Bitchute because of shadow banning. He just talks. His main topic is

the MIC/CIA/NATO/Banker Anthropologist Agencies cranking out mind altering substances & control in California. It ain’t just drugs, but cultural influences throughout the entertainment/music industry. And, like in the old marriage vow, once one says “I do” it’s till death do us part.

Jason Aldean responds to controversy over "Try That in a Small Town" - https://www.cbsnews.com/news/jason-aldean-responds-try-that-in-a-small-town-controversy/

To be honest after reading this article and linking the video and lyrics as well yesterday; I didn't see all that much offensive about this song.

As you say, Sheryl could have bitched about a lot of other songs that were much worse. This whole thing is about trying to continuously promote the false racist narrative that the left and MSM uses to divide this country. Actually, whether you like rock, rap, country, reggae or whatever, the song is about sticking up for what is right. So tell me, what's wrong with that?

Linking your take as well, today @https://nothingnewunderthesun2016.com/

> “It's going to be difficult to find an older public building or institution in the USA which cannot be associated at some point with a disgraceful event.”

Good point.

I don’t particularly like country music & I had never heard of Jason Aldean. If it wasn’t for some Soros sponsored woke activism I would never have known about this singer or this song. I think this will resonate strongly with a lot of people.

Its a shame she decided to become political at this late date. She would have gone down in history as a widely revered American icon had she kept her silence. If she keeps it up, this is all she will be remembered for.

I am sure Crow is jabbed to the gills; hopefully Aldean is not.

The always good value for money Candace Owens has waded in with these insights. I’m going with Owens over Crowe as someone with an objective moral compass any day of the week. https://youtu.be/-YDrELR8hLQ

Apparently the video was filmed in front of the Maury County Courthouse in Columbia Tennessee. In 1927 a gang of white men dragged a black man, Henry Choate, through the streets behind a car & then strung him up in front of the courthouse. The symbolism is there if you look for it. There is perhaps an argument that the video is borderline insensitive. Also apparently the singer did not grow up in a small town, he grew up in large cities. Well that’s another great big ‘so what’. I grew up in a city. I now live remotely with the closest town (3 miles) having a population of 400. I relate to that small town culture.

None of this in any way counters your point about far, far more offensive, violent and disturbing material that Ms Crowe seems comfortable with.
